1DAY 01 ARRIVAL IN DELHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - TRANSFER TO HOTEL
Our friendly representative will be at the airport to greet you as soon as you enter the arrivals area and you will be driven to your hotel in comfort and safety. Delhi is known for its rich and diverse cultures, history and heritage is the ideal place to explore the pulse of India and its people. (Hotel Booked by Yolo India Tours). Overnight stay in Delhi.
2DAY 02 OLD DELHI AND NEW DELHI TOUR
The morning begins with a refreshing breakfast. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and be ready to show you the best of Old and New Delhi. The tour will start with Old Delhi where you will visit the Jama Mosque- the largest mosque in India. In continuation, we take a Rickshaw ride (Pedicabs)through the 300 years old Chandni Chowk bazaar to explore the historical lanes of Old Delhi and Asia's largest spice market. At the end of the rickshaw ride, we move on to Raj Ghat, the memorial of the father of the nation mahatma Gandhi. It is a peaceful place with beautiful gardens. Later we head to British Delhi (New Delhi), drive past the official home of the President of India(Rashtrapati Bhavan) and India's highest legislative body the parliament building. Also, visit the IconicIndia gate memorial to 90,000 Indian soldiers who died during World War 1. Our last visit for the day will be the Qutub Minar UNESCO world heritage site. 3DAY 03 DELHI- JAIPUR (280 KMS / 05-06 HOURS DRIVE)
After leisurely breakfast we drive to Pink city Jaipur by road, passing through rural villages, Aravalli hills, and agricultural land. Upon arrival in Jaipur check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is completely yours. If you wish to visit some places the transport is available for you and your options are : Galta Ji is a large Hindu temple complex that lies 10 km outside of Jaipur city. Galta Ji Jaipur is a unique Hindu temple as it is centered on a natural spring that has been channeled to fill seven large pools. In these pools, pilgrims come to bath away their sins while, at quiet moments, the playful monkeys can be found swimming in the holy waters. The temple is also home to a large colony of monkeys and this has given rise to the common name of the complex, the monkey temple. OR Laxmi Narayana Temple is an example of marvelous architecture. There are idols of Hindu Gods and Goddess, Hindu symbols, ancient quotes. On walls, mythological events are carved and there are idols and images of saints, philosophers,s, and historians like Buddha, Socrates, Zarathustra, and Confucius. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
4DAY 04 PINK CITY TOUR
Today you go out all day on an excursion, back to Amer fort 11 km outside of Jaipur the former medieval capital, built by Raja Man Singh the commander of the Rajput Akbar army in 1592. This landmark is a splendid representation of Rajput architecture. Enjoy your drive up to the fort passing through some of the oldest houses and temples of the old city. After that thrilling ride, you'll steady your feet and be awestruck by the marvelous sight before you, marble palaces, mosaics, paintings, mirror works, carvings, mural walls, and engravings. When touring Amber fort don't forget to visit 17 century Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), a chamber decorated with an array of mirrors on the walls and ceiling. A zenana courtyard is a place you must see. It is a private women's residence designed with one corridor but different rooms so that the Maharaja (King) could visit the wife or concubines of his choice, at his pleasure without the others knowing. After visiting Amer fort, return to the city en route to stop for a picture at Jal Mahal (Water Palace), which is a five-story high palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The four-floor stay under the water it is only the fifth floor that is visible. Your next visit is the glorious City Palace; when you visit you get a feel for the wealth of Jaipurs royal family one of the richest in India. for a beautiful display of intricate craftsmanship see the superb peacock gate which shows off spectacular and bright peacock images at the entrance that will make you go WOW ! Visit one of the best museums in India with an art gallery and exhibits of royal costumes and medieval Indian armaments. Admire an exclusive collection of regal costumes and marvelous shawls like the pashmina. In the middle of the place, the complex stands a pink and white marble-paved gallery where the Maharaja conferred with their ministers called the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience). It is here that you will find what is considered to be the biggest silver object on earth; these are two mammoth silver vessels 1.6 m tall. Afterward, you visit Jantar Mantar a gigantic solar observatory with a brilliant display of Indian architecture that shows the scientific expertise that existed in medieval India. It is made up of some 14 most important geometric devices which track the location of stars, measure time, predict eclipses, as well as the earth's orbit around the sun. It will be a surprise to you when you see that these instruments which the ancient people made of stone can carry out the same measurements of time and the sun's movements as our modern-day technology. 6DAY 06 AGRA-NEW DELHI (220 KMS / 03 HOURS)
Today we wake up early to visit the Taj Mahal at Sunrise. Return to the hotel for a hot breakfast. Later we visit Agra fort. Enjoy your drive through the express highway to Delhi. 7DAY 07 DELHI- VARANASI (BY FLIGHT)
In the morning transfer to Delhi airport to catch a flight to Varanasi. Our representative will meet you upon arrival at the Varanasi airport. Transfer to hotel. The afternoon is free to take some rest. Varanasi A city of Light, is said to be one of the oldest inhabited and most exciting cities in the world, which has been standing the test of time for over 5,ooo years. Later visit Bharat Mata Temple, which is among the beautiful temples constructed in 1936 by BabuShiv Prasad Gupt, a Gandhian follower. It is situated within the campus of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth. The shrine is dedicated to Mother India and possesses a beautiful marble structure, which was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. Durga Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga, is one of the popular temples, which is also known as the monkey temple. Constructed during the 18th century by a Bengali Maharani, the temple possessesNorth the Indian or Nagara style of architecture. Visit Dassawamedh Ghat is one of the prominent ghats, situated on the banks of the river Ganges. That is visited by Hindu devotees in large numbers due to the religious significance of ten sacrificed horses. It is believed that ten horses were sacrificed by Lord Brahma to allow Lord Shiva to return from the period of banishment. Assi Ghat is the southernmost Ghat in Varanasi, situated at the assemblage of Ganges and Assirivers. A ghat is a sacred place as pilgrims offer prayers to a huge Shiva lingam placed under a peepal tree after bathing in the river. In the evening we will visit the Ghats of Varanasi and witness the Ganges prayer. The prayer of 45minutes is a real spectacle. This is a religious ritual worshiping Ganga Maiya (Holy Mother Ganga,). The sound of hand-pumped harmonium, tabla, and bells with the fragrance of incense makes the environment so amazing. 8DAY 08 VARANASI
We will wake up early for a boat ride at sunrise is one of the experiences not to be missed when in Varanasi. It gives a glimpse of morning life along the Ghats and stunning views sun rising from the eastern horizon. Later we will take a walk to the narrow streets to reach the heart of the city to experience the lifestyle of the people, feel the culture of the city and also visit Manikaran Ghat: The ancient Hindu cremation place. We return to our hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon we will do a most popular excursion to Sarnath located 13 km northeast of Varanasi. Another sacred place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon is a deer park. Dhamek Stupa, Founded by king Ashoka in 249 BC, is one of the most prominent Buddhist structures in India. Also visit Archaeological Museum, Sarnath. The buildings form half of a monastery in the plan. There are five galleries and two verandas. The antiquities in the museum are datable from the 3rd century BC to the 12th century AD. Return to Varanasi. The evening will be at your leisure.
9DAY 09 VARANASI-DELHI (BY FLIGHT)
After breakfast transfer to the airport to catch a flight for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi take your onward flight. Please note: Our tour service ends after airport departure in Varanasi.
