Itinerary
1Day 1 : Arrival Srinagar Airport and Drive to Pahalgam
A meet and greet have been arranged for you at the Srinagar Airport. Your personalized chauffer cum guide will welcome you at your arrival. Move towards Pahalgam. The journey will take around 1 and half hours and you should visit the famous Awantipora Ruins and Saffron fields on the way. Awantipora ruins are known for being ancient Hindu temples during the reign of King Avantiman who ruled during AD 855-833 You should visit the Aru Valley, Chandanwari valley and Betaab valley. They are all famous for being the site for Bollywood movies. If you have a taste for adventure rides then a visit to Pahalgam Club, Children Park, and Zoo is a must. Check in to your hotel and relax with a delicious dinner and a night's stay.
2Day 02: Pahalgham Sightseeing
Start your day early with heavy breakfast as you will be going for a day of a hectic schedule. If you are in Pahalgam and have not visited the Baisaran valley famously called Mini Switzerland then you have seen nothing. A word of caution though, you will have to use ponies to ride to Baisaran valley as no vehicle is allowed to go there. Also, the route remains closed during adverse weather conditions. Enjoy your evening on the bank of river Lidder and calm your nerves with the soothing sound of flowing water. Retire back to your hotel and relax with a delicious dinner and a night's stay.
3Day 03: Pahalgham to Gulmarg
A warm cup of tea with a delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Leave your hotel refreshed and satiated with your breakfast and move towards Gulmarg. Gulmarg is at a travel distance of 158 Km from the Srinagar city which is to be covered in an hour. We could halt at Tangmarg for a cup of coffee and relax our muscles. We will check in to the hotel and freshen up for mesmerizing visuals of Gulmarg aptly called a winter paradise. The major locations to be covered are Golf Club, Strawberry Valley, Nageen Valley, and Maharaja Palace. It is a shame if we come to Gulmarg and don’t enjoy the highest cable rope car in the world famously known as Gondola. It can take you up to the height of 16, 000 ft. above sea level and will mesmerize you will the glaciers of Khilanmerg and Afarwat. A word of caution, it is cold there so brace yourself with warm clothes and accessories. Drive back to Srinagar for your night's stay, Check-in your hotel and appease your hunger with international cuisine and retire to your bed.
4Day 04: Gulmarg to Srinagar
A warm cup of tea with a delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Leave your hotel refreshed and satiated with your breakfast and move towards Srinagar. For those who are devotees of Lord Shiva, a visit to the Shankar Achariya Temple is a must. It is strategically located on top of a hill. Get the spiritual vibes from the 2500-year-old temple and simultaneously muse your eyes with the beautiful whole Dal Lake view. On the way, you could also visit the famous Parimahal known primarily for being the musical court of Mughal King Shah Jahan. In the evening go for a walk on the bouled road and do some shopping. 5Day 05: Srinagar Local Sightseeing
On the banks of the Jhelum River, amid the colorful flowers, you can find Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir. Dry fruits, Kashmiri handicrafts, shikaras, and wooden mosques are a few things famous in Srinagar. The vast stretch of Himalayas and expansive biodiversity make Srinagar even more fascinating. Stroll at Chashmi-e Shahi (The Royal Spring), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), and Nishat Bagh (The Garden of pleasure). The second largest lake of Kashmir, Dal Lake is very popular in India and beyond, with blooming gardens of the Mughal era, hotels, hamlets, etc., lined on its banks. Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi are located in Mughal Garden. Nishat Park, the second largest garden in Kashmir valley, has 12 terraces with spectacular details. Chashme Shahi is decorated with an Iranian theme and the design is inspired by Persian gardens. The spring flowing down in the terraces is a special feature of this park. This spring is divided into three parts; waterfall, aqueduct, and waterfall. In the evening, take a shikara ride to Dal Lake. Overnight stay in a hotel.
6Day 06: Srinagar to Sonmarg
A warm cup of tea with a delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Leave your hotel refreshed and satiated with your breakfast and move towards Sonamarg. You should visit the Thajwas glacier. You will have to use ponies to reach the glacier. You should also visit fish point in Sonamarg for a small boat ride and zorbing ball. If you have a nick for water and heights then white water rafting and trekking are a must in Sonamarg. Check in your hotel for your night's stay, appease your hunger with international cuisine, and retire to your bed.
7Day 07: Departure transfer to Srinagar Airport
Satiate yourself with breakfast and blissful memories of Kashmir. You will drive back to your departure port. We bid adieu to you and wish you had a wonderful journey.
